Summer Session Business Certificate Programs

Non-business majors seeking career preparation or advancement may complete two special certificate programs offered through the Summer Session: The Certificate in Business Fundamentals and the Advanced Certificate in Business.

These certificate programs are coordinated by Associate Dean Martin S. Markowitz of the Rutgers Business School

CERTIFICATE IN BUSINESS FUNDAMENTALS

This series of four 3-credit courses provides the non-business major with a solid foundation in business basics. A certificate is awarded upon successful completion of all four program courses.

Students who have earned at least 24 college credits are eligible to complete the program. All course work for the certificate must be completed with a grade of C or better. Courses taken during the regular academic year, with the exception of Introduction to Financial Accounting, may not be used to satisfy the requirements for the certificate.
