Study Engineering at Rutgers University this Summer

The Pre-Engineering Summer Academy at Rutgers University is an intensive one-week certificate program (July 31 - August 6, 2016) that will introduce participants to aerospace, biochemical, biomedical, chemical, civil, computer, electrical, environmental, forensic, industrial, material science, mechanical and systems engineering through an integrated program of lectures, demonstrations, hands-on projects, tours, and field trips.

The Pre-Engineering Summer Academy Includes:

  • Program orientation and campus tour
  • Lectures, demonstrations and hands-on projects introducing engineering concepts and field applications
  • MakerSpace tour and fabrication project
  • Guest speakers from the professional engineering community
  • WINLAB (Rutgers Wireless Information Network Laboratory) tour and presentation
  • Campus cultural and leisure activities
  • Access to campus facilities, including libraries, computer centers, and student and recreation centers
  • On-campus housing and all meals
