Exercising and Aging
Explore how to work with and design an exercise program for the geriatric population.
This course includes a field trip to a local senior center where students will apply what they have learned in the classroom. This practical application breaks any misconceptions and provides hands-on experience for future practicing clinicians.
Students in this course will complete individual and group presentations while developing and implementing a program for the geriatric population at a local senior center.
This course will be taught by practicing physical therapist at St. Peter’s Sports Medicine Institute, Dr. Nicole Nagle. Nagle incorporates her knowledge and expertise of the field by providing real life examples and creating a deeper understanding for students.
