* Please note:

  • Second Session overlaps first and third sessions. Check course dates carefully to avoid conflict. The WebReg system will not recognize summer scheduling conflicts.
  • Payment of tuition and fees for all registered courses must be made by the payment due date of the earliest course, otherwise late fees will be assessed.  For example, students registered for Session I and Session III must pay the entire term bill by the Session I due date.
  • Visiting students: You must complete the necessary prerequisite work and are responsible for determining that you have done so before registering for a Rutgers summer course. Please talk with your academic advisor or dean to assure that you have the appropriate preparation, referencing the prerequisites listed on the Rutgers Summer Session website (summer.rutgers.edu). Visiting students should also seek written confirmation from their academic advisors/deans that the course(s) they complete at Rutgers will be accepted by their home institution. If you have questions or need additional information about a Rutgers course, you may contact the sponsoring academic department (use the search website search.rutgers.edu for departmental contact information).
  • High School students: Please refer to the "High School Students" section for application process and deadlines.
  • Rutgers reserves the right to change, without notice, any statement in this catalog concerning, but not limited to, rules, policies, fees, programs, and courses. The University also reserves the right to restrict registration in any course offered or to cancel courses announced on this website.
  • Class will not meet on July 4th, in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.
